Thank you for your early response, much appreciated.  Every little bit is important and can lead onward.  I am hoping that others in the wider  family will pick this up , especially if they can given me info. on Tom's first wife who is my Great Grandmoither.  Emily( maybe Emilia ) Rigney. 11 Nov 1879 in  St James's Church, Dublin  according to the rites of the Church of Ireland

Oophs - pressed a button too soon.
I have a lot more about Great Grandad after he left the Army and became a Publican first in Canterbury and then in Dover at The Falcon.
His first wife Emily died in Muttra about 1888 and he remarried Mary Ann Hilton and began his second family.
Anyway, hopefully this may lead to more info.
Best wishes and thanks
Margaret

Hi Margaret,

I am very sorry but your reply to Onecoats post has sadly bounced back to us.  It looks like Onecoat has changed her email address within the last 12 months and sadly we do not know what the new one is :'(

We do check members emails although some posts are upto 12 years old and so long as there is no note underneath the profile name everything should be working ok.

Old members do pop back up on a regular basis so fingers crossed onecoat gets to read your reply.

Kind Regards

Sarah

Thanks for that.  I will go back on that birth date for Mabel.   Actually one of her sons is alive and living in Australia. I had the pleasure of meeting her grand daughter and one great grand daughter for the first time when they were visiting Scotland.
All the best
Margaret
