Hi Donna,
I hope to get to the archives next week, I'll have a look.
Do you have Richard & Mary in Woodside Houses on the 1881 Census.
Paul.

I do thanks and then back at Battery Row in 1891 which is a bit strange then in 1901 Richard is living with his unmarried daughter in New Road Holywell. I think I have his death in Dec qtr 1901 still in Holywell.

I haven't done much with this branch yet as I can't get to Wales as easily as Liverpool to do the research maybe this is the push I need.

Excellent Paul - what a fast response!

Not only the exact dates, which is what I really wanted, but also the name of the Church, which I've been trying to find for AGES. and to top it all, ANOTHER offspring.

However William Henry must have popped his clogs quite handy, as there is no further record of him at all.

Don't suppose there's a chance you could look up burials for him at all?

Great stuff,

D ap D

Hi D ap D,
Had a look in the Buckley Burials for William, nothing I'm afraid. Be glad to help with anything else you might have.
How about a Photo of the Church? if I can get my mate to nip up with his digital camera, it's only 5 or 6 miles up the road.
Paul

Thanks very much for that I have just logged on at work on a night shift and found your message. They look very promising don't they. Were they at Chapel Street congregational?

There was a Thomas listed on the 1871 a few houses down from Richard and David so thought he might be another son but didn't want to assume being Evans and Wales  ;)

So it looks like Richard and Mary had a Walter William that died as he is not on any other census and used the name Richard more than once as my Richard was born in c1866. Will have to get looking for deaths to confirm.

Bagillt street rings a bell as well but not sure why. very frustrating as my file is at home and I am at work   :-[

Will have to organize a trip to Flintshire records sometime

Many thanks for your time and your offer Paul. Since you gave me the name of the church, I've found a photo on the Clwyd FHS site.
Much appreciated anyway.
