Glad to have been of some small help. I too have some research in the Seagoe Parish, albeit CofI/Presbyterian, so had used the various sites I have provided links to and also found them useful. It was therefore easy to check if they had anything about Bluestone. Do update us if you have any success. Best wishes.

Scotmum,
You've been a great help with all this, and I've now sent an e-mail to the present Methodist Minister to see whether she can help me with the early history of Bluestone...Will indeed update you with anything comes up of any extra interest.
Keith

Hi, In Bluestone and the surrounding area today there are still Dynes connections. Some also attended Knocknamuckley C of I Church which would only be approx 2mile from Bluestone Methodist church. The little cottage beside the methodist church would date from before the time you are investigating.  Try searching this site with "rodgers and Dynes Knocknamuckley"
Good Luck,

Aljepeka,
How very kind of you to unearth all this exciting Dynes genealogy for me!  A great start to the New Year.  Did you mean search on Rootschat with the key words you gave...?  And I shall certainly contact Ken Rolston on Genforum.
Had no reply at all from e-mailing the present Methodist Minister in Bluestone...but perhaps I had the wrong contact address.
Very best wishes,
Keith
