Beszant - Deptford area

Can anyone find anyone with the name Beszant in any 1841/51 census and nay marriages or births around the 1790's- early 1800's?   The name can be spelt Besant/Bezant/Bessant etc.

In particular I am looking for information on a Nathaniel Beszant and his wife ELizabeth who had a son called Jospeh christenened 15 Sept 1805 in Deptford.

Any help most welcome.

Hi Michelle,
Haven't spotted any of your family in Deptford, but found this one in St Marys Newington, Surrey 1841 census (a few miles up river from Deptford)
ref HO107 1063-7 folio 22 page 36: Union Place, St Marys Newington, Lambeth, Surrey
Thomas Beszant age 50 East India broker
Mary do age 40
both born in county

Not much to go on, but they may link up with yours,

Nathaniel BESZANT of this parish bachelor
Elizabeth RICHARDSON of this parish spinser
Wit:  John BESZANT & S? BESZANT

All signed the register so I would expect there to be some consistency with the spelling somewhere along the line.
