ION/BENNETT search

Thanks to the generosity of a fellow genealogist, I now have details of my great-great-grandfather's first family prior to his transportation in 1842

He was a highway robber!! None of your hankie thieves for me!

I am interested in finding out more about the children he left behind - it's so wonderful after all these years of searching to finally be able to put names to them. In Christopher's convict record it stated that he had a wife and 2 children, but I didn't know the children's names.

looking through the GRO index, the same mothers have been indexed as Jon (most common varient) Pon, Tom, ...om etc.
The above couple also had a son Joseph Christoper Haines 1751 St James, Clerkenwell, Middlesex, England
Thomas and his wife from census's had children in
Romford Essex, Whitechapel London, Lambeth Surrey, Kennington or Lambeth, he was a tailor.
