So, John Kendle and Margaret Thompson/Thomson from Cockthorpe and Binham Parishes....

It seems Cockthorpe was Margaret's home parish.

You had sent on that four of their children, including Robert Thompson Kendle were baptized in the Binham Parish (also a son Charles 1798, daughter Eliza 1803 and a daughter Elizabeth 1805.)

From your post above, was their son Robert's  entry/baptism also in the Cockthorpe Parish register?
This being the case then if they had a daughter Margaret then it would seem she should really appear in either the Cockthorpe or Binham registers?  But so far I can find nothing ....

This is making Yokel's John and Mary more likely?

No. Robert Tompson Kendle was also in Binham. ref: Freereg

Binham AT's: John Kendle born 27 February 1797, bap privately 5 March 1797 of John Kendle and Margaret nee Thompson.  (a month after they were married) PR's spelling is Kendell.

Family search ref: BT"s of Binham there is also a daughter* Frances born 1809  received into the church 5 July 1812 along with her sister Elizabeth born 1805,(same Elizabeth baptized there 1805)

This is* Frances' original born 8 October 1809 at St Mary's Warham baptized 29 October 1809, father John Kendal and mother Margaret Thompson Kendal. Private

Family search: William Kendle baptized Binham 1 August 1813 of John and Margaret Kendle, labourer.

It appears he moved around where his work took him.

Sorry didn't answer your question.
I was leaning towards daughter named for mother, however a daughter could also be named for a grandmother. You will find something in the future that will convince you of her parentage.
