Samuel ROPER - Baptism

Given that Buxhall is only 2 miles from Harleston I think this chap remains a possibility. I've checked the 41 again there are no Ropers in Harleston. I've looked for another Samuel Roper of suitable age in Suffolk, Cambs, Essex and Norfolk for you but no sign of him. Had a look for Samuel Roper born Buxhall on other census indexes but I can't see him - someone with full access might check for you. It would also be worth chasing the rest of the family from 1841 on other censuses - maybe Robert appears as John at some point All avenues worth exploring.
