Strata Florida cemetery listings?

Is the cemetery at Strata Florida still active? Is there an authority that can be reached regarding people interred in the cemetery?

My question is because I have a relative rumored to be interred at Strata Florida cemetery. He most likely died after 1915, and I have not encountered any indexes that I am aware of that are this recent.

Any guidance on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

It was certainly active after 1915. Have been there recently
and whilst I can't be absolutley positive it's still active, if you give me a name and some dates, I could pop over next weekend and have a look for you (with the digital camera)

Thanks for offering to check--I'd certainly not expect you to expend too much effort, since I don't have any specific info for a death date. That's the main reason for my inquiry regarding cemetery authorities.

The person I am interested in is Moses Jones, b. 21 Jun 1863 in Ystrad Meurig, Cardiganshire. I believe that he was alive in 1915 (from children's marriage certificates), but don't have any info regarding his death, outside of the burial cemetery.

Well, if it's not raining tomorrow afternoon (and that might be asking a lot here in West Wales!!!), I can combine Strata Florida with a trip to the rather nice cafe and craft shop in nearby Tregaron.

Sorry it's taken rather longer than  I thought to get to Strata Florida!! I went this morning and couldn't see a Moses Jones although I can tell you that the cemetery is still in use.

Just because I couldn't see a Moses Jones, doesn't mean to say that he's not there. I might have to go up to the National Library at Aberystwyth - hopefully between Christmas and New Year - to see if I can find some listings.
