Hello John

Could please give some more names to work on and I will look it up for you next year.  The Heritage cenre is closed for the holiday season and is moving to new permises.  It could be the middle of next month before I get access to the census records.

Hi

Forres 1841 is on Freecen. You'll find John there age shown as 25 (remember they rounded ages down  in 1841) He is shown as a Tailor.

Regards
Jean

Hi John

I am a great, great grand-daughter of the Caroline Street, Forres McKimmies - John and Christian Fraser. I have tried contacting you before but obviousdly I did something wrong as perhaps you haven't received it. I have a lot of information regarding the family so please contact me if it is of any interest to you. I would be very interested to know your connection.

Hi Brendan

I am guessing here but are you descended from John McKimmie born 2 March 1843, Forres and who married Mary Ann Garden? John was one of my great grandfather James younger brothers and like him followed in their fathers footsteps and became a tailor. I do have quite a lot of information which I would be happy to share with you.

Regards
