Inquests in Nottingham 1828-1866
« on: Tuesday 27 December 05 17:15 GMT (UK) »
Hi

I have got the following book:

Viewing the Lifeless Body, A Coroner and his inquests held in Nottinghamshire Public Houses during the Nineteenth Century 1828 to 1866.

Bernard V Heathcote Nottinghamshire County Council 2005

There are lots of names of deceased persons and noteworthy individuals. The book is a fascinating read, the causes of death and the verdicts are illuminating. The forward is from the present Notts Coroner Dr Nigel Chapman. It was £7.95 from Nottm Archives.

Hi Steve

I've been glued to it all day. Absolutely brilliant. Santa also brought me Nottingham...the Sinister Side but I'm back at work tomorrow so it will take me a few days to get through it.
