St Marks Road, London
« on: Wednesday 28 December 05 11:47 GMT (UK) »
Hi,

I'm looking for residents at 10 st Marks road, Kensington in 1881, the census on Ancestry.co.uk stops at No 4 on the even side of the road. In particular I'm looking for the Faulkner family. Any help much appreciated.

How strange! Can you let me know who is living there at the time or can you e-mail the census to me at (*)

Many thanks

Sorry, not allowed to offer images... Just go to the ancestry site and type in the reference instead of a name.

Re: St Marks Road, London, Faulkner - Isaacson

Have already tried a query to find these two but here they are again for anyone who may be able to help:

William Mark(AKA Mark) Faulkner b 1854 London City(Father Mark, an Engineer), Married(1882 Notting Hill/Kensington/St.Mark) a Sarah Ann Isaacson born 1863 suffolk(Father William, a shepheard). Cannot find them before the 1891 census(East Findsbury, London) 1901 census(Red Lion Passage, London), they seem to have appeared out of thin air!

I have found this  family on the 1891 Helmet Row St Lukes East Finsbury, have you tried looking for the birth cert of Annie shown as aged 11 on 1891 census, states born Paddington circa 1880, this will give you another 1881 address to search, or even a baptism in the same area within 2 years of stated birth, she may of course be under the mother's maiden name.
happy hunting
