Hello Jena,
My gr.gr.grandfather lived in Old Monkland, Lanark in 1909, don't know if it could be him, his name was James Dornan.  Thanks Steve.

Larkhall Thistle are still going .... founded in 1878 their current information location is at

Larkhall Thistle FC
Address
Gaswork Park
Raploch Street
Larkhall
Lanarkshire

01698 884998

They may be able to give more information about the match and the players.
Unfortunately not many of the other teams appear to have survived (in adult football anyway)

Hello Jena

My grandfather was Michael Lewsley and played for Ireland. I don't know much about him but I do know he was 22 in 1911. You mentioned you have photos of the above and one of the players was Lewsley which I think could have been my grandfather. He died when my mother was about 12months old and she used to tell me he got killed playing football as he got kicked. I know what he looked like and wondered if it were possible for you to send me a copy of the photos you have. I would be so delighted.
Thanking you in anticipation.

Hello Jena

I am writing my family history at the moment and would love to see the picture of the Ireland Team with Tommy Shanks in it.  He was my great grandfather's nephew and I have been trying to get photographs of him.  He was one of the most inflential players of his time and although born in Ireland was a Londoner through and through.

Here's hoping and thanking you in anticipation.
