WILLIAMS FROM LLANBADARN FAWR, ABERYSTWYTH

Does anyone know a John Thomas williams married to mary elizabeth williams nee (williams).   married in saron or (saxon) chapel, Llanbadarn Fawr, Aberystwyth on 4th July 1905.       John before he was married lived at 12 Rheidol place, Aberystwyth. And Mary lived at 1 Quebec cottage, Llanbadarn Fawr, Aberystwyth.

My grandfather was their son Thomas Richard williams, born 1905, who when he was in his twenty's came to Oxford and married my Grandmother Alice wooldridge.
There must be someone still living in Aberystwyth who is related.

Although I can't claim to be related, our families were neighbours.   My g-grandmother, Jane Renfrey and family,  lived in 10 Rheidol Place in 1881.   I notice that your Williams family were there, in number 12, at the same time.  Like the Renfreys it looks as though the husband was working that day

You are correct about the Chapel in Llanbadarn Fawr.   It is Saron Chapel, a Calvinist Methodist Chapel dating from about 1842.   I believe it's still in use today.

Hopefully some descendents are still in Aber.   Unfortunately all mine have either died or moved away, as I did.   Moved away that is!
