I have a Dorcas Geneva Coates from ll anstadwell pembrokeshire.  She has two brothers George and Samuel and a sister Florence.I have been looking for three years  but cannot find anything about the boys. their mothers name is Elizabeth fathers name is unknown. any chance  youy can help me.

I have Coates in my paternal line. Working back:
Coates, Frederick James b.1880 Kensington
Coates, Frederick James b. 1843 Burlestone
Coates/Coats, John b.1803 Athelhampton
Cote, George b. cir 1775 Burlestone

I would dearly love to be able to get more info, back further, learn more about them  :D

My first Coates above emigrated to NZ.
I have all their wives, and most offspring too.

I have a Charles Archer Coates born 1810 Portsea, father Robert Coates, a Ship wight,  Charles name got changed to Coutes about 1854

James Coats (no e) was a weaver born in Paisley who started the Coats thread industry in Scotland J & P Coats, Coats Paton, Coats Viyella , Coats Plc.

This post is a natural hand made product. The slight variations in spelling and grammar enhance its individual character and beauty and in no way are to be considered flaws. Unfortunately my preferred method of writing (Parker Quink on Basildon Bond) cannot be used.
