Hi Jamie,

I have just read your post on the first letter, It gives you an insight of life in that period. I know he became a Captain but not sure what regiment. We beleive his family were in the horse racing business as Wormleighton Hall had many pictures of racehorses on the wall during ww2, they also had a very large trophy.
           Graham.

Hi Jamie,
Its very good of you to show these letters, A good collection Gilbert mentions his fathers letters , my wife remembers the father on the estate in Wormleighton during WW2, and of course Gilbert who was still known as Captain Passmore.

           Regards Graham.

Hello Graham,
I'm not sure how old this post is, but in the course of some research I've been doing Captain Passmore has come up a few times.
Could you please let me know if you're still following this up and I'll be in touch properly.
Thanks,
Graham
