sampson's of Laxton, Nottinghamshire
« on: Tuesday 17 January 06 02:06 GMT (UK) »
James Sampson, born in Deptford, 1784 married Ann Lacey on Jan 5, 1810. Moved to Laxton, Nottinghamshire. Can anyone connect James Sampson to the Sampson's of Corringham, Lincolnshire? Also, ANY ancestry of James Sampson would be a blessing!

Hi, welcome to rootschat :)

Seeing as no one has come forward with any info yet, it might be worth putting your request on the Norfolk and Lincolnshire county boards.
You can also enter your names on the 'surname interest table', usually found by scrolling down to the bottom of the screen.

good luck

Hi Laura,

I am related by marriage to the Sampsons of Laxton. I can send further details by Personal Message once you have made 3 posts. :)

Alexander
I think maybe Sarah was the well behaved daughter, considering Hannah and Fanny.

As I haven't heard any reply, I will assume this is some form of intrusion on my private accounts. I will therefor report.

Laurie, not sure what reply you were expecting.
I point out in a reply that you probably won't hear from the OP.
Alexander replies to you with helpful information.
Do you mean, that you are not receiving notice of the replies made?
What private accounts are being intruded upon  ???
