Callander/Callender Family Glencairn

Hi Folks,

Is there anyone who could shed some light on the Callander/Callender family pre 1851 especially Walter Callander/Callender (Father John Callender, Mother Janet Johnston or Kirk) born Sept 1826 in Glencairn. I have a good record of him from 1851 but cant find him in the 1841 census. He is illegitimate according to death certificate but despite many John Callenders in 1841 census its hard to establish definite link with his reputed father. Any info on the family in Glencairn and surrounding parishes would be great.

Hi ,I have callanders from that area in my tree.But no walter?? have you any more info.
as I have a Robert born Glencairn 1815.
