My wife and I will be in Peebles in the first week of June, exploring our ancestry.  I am trying to find a car hire but having difficulty.  I am sure there must be one, can someone help?

I'm not sure if it's still there, but Tweeddale Motors in Peebles may be able to help you.  01721 720627.  Lynda does sales and she may be able to help you. 
If not, somewhere in Edinburgh, Hertz have a place at Edinburgh airport where you can hire a car then drive down to Peebles.  It's much easier to drive than get the bus down!   :)
