Just to let you know I've checked the link to the 1911 census and not only did the page show Albert Jones which was my original request, but also it listed the Curtis family including daughter Una who later became his wife.
Hehe, nice one Karen, 2 for the price of 1 :)

I have a request. Could someone look up a marriage for James William Aylestock born 1850 - 1860? please.  From info gleaned online his wifes name was Emiline Caroll b:abt 1854.  In 1881 Emiline is single and living in Waterloo North, Ontario with her father, I have not been able to locate the wherabouts of James in that period, they did eventually settle in Wellington County Ontario. Their only son William was born abt 1885 according to the 1911 census in which the name is spelled Ailstock.
I am trying to find out who James' parents were.  Between 1881 and 1911 there are a total of 3 Aylestocks that I've been able to find, William in 1911 and a possible for James' parents in the 1881 cenus, a James 1818 and Hannah 1819 Aylstock.
Any help much appreciated
~Denise

Levi is Emiline's dad, in 1851 his wife's name was Crecia, and a son Charles. I found a marriage for Levi Caroll to Lucrecia Brooks but in 1881 he's married to Margaret, I was wondering who Emiline's mom was, Lucrecia or Margaret, looks like you answered that one for me. Thanks :)

Yes, that's them, from information I received from my husbands Grand Aunt. William grew up in Glen Allan but I haven't been able to find anything in the 1901 relating to Aylestock/Ailstock/Aylstock or anything remotely close to that.  I've found the Lawson's, William's wifes family in 1901 and 1881

Hi Denise,

Are your Lawson's or Aylstock's connected with the family Jewell's?

I missed that first marriage you posted between James and Emaline, that Aylestook marriage has to be mine, there aren't that many of us and the only reason I had Emiline Caroll is because that's what I'd found from another Aylestock researching James William who stated the wife's name was Emoline Caroll, now i'm confused  ::)

Yes, from memory, One of Henry Lawson's daughters married a Jewell, my Minnie Lawson (William Aylestock's wife) is the daughter of William Lawson, Henry's brother.......Mabel Lawson, Minnie's sister married Edward Hisson

not confusing i hope  :-\
