I noticed you started this thread a long time ago but please see photo i took of Cerrig Cynrig 2 years ago. Cerrig has also been known as cerrig-cyn-rhyg and in 1840 it was owned by Sir John Hay Williams and rented to the Roberts family. From the 1840 tithe map and schedule they owned 11 fields consisting of 80 acres, the neighboring farms were also owed by the same people who restored Bodelwyddan castle. I do have more information - I am a neighbour.

Cerrig Cynrig Farm still exists but the Farm house and farm buildings were split and sold separately a few years ago. We have owned the farm land since around 2000. I can show you "madam wen's cave" if you like. The post code is LL65 3EJ.

I realise that this is an old thread but my sister now resides in the carrig cynrig farmhouse, and I am trying to find more out about the history of this building!
there are several references on here about it! can anyone help me further?
