ROOTSCHAT IS NOW READY - PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD


Thanks to everybody for reporting any glitches that we had - the main bulk was down to logging-on problems, which we have now (hopefully) solved. We also had some very useful feedback on some of the links which were broken since we last visited them.

We are delighted with the level of support that you have all given us - and we hope that RootsChat will become a real resource for each and every one of you. Testing has been completed, and we're as ready as we'll ever be (we hope!).


PLEASE LET OTHERS KNOW ABOUT ROOTSCHAT
The only thing that remains now is for us all to "let the world know" about RootsChat - after all, it's only with it becoming busy that it will really become useful. If there is any way you can let others know about it - then it would be great.

Let's launch this ship!

PLEASE PRINT OFF THE ATTACHED POSTER AND DISPLAY IN YOUR LOCAL LIBRARY OR FAMILY HISTORY CENTRE

We've attched a simple poster (in Acrobat format) which is a poster in "A4" size that can be cut in two to make two small leaflets or posters. We would be very grateful if you could print them off and place them in strategic points in Libraries, Family History Centres, at you Local History Club, or perhaps leave a small pile of them at a Family History fair! The more we promote RootsChat the better it is to become for everybody. Thank you ever so much!

If you have posted any RootsChat posters, or handed out any leaflets then please let us know, and we can pay a special mention to welcome people on RootsChat.  Grin

Not only is it fun, but it will give you some idea of how many people have joined the RootsChat community as a result of you putting up a poster, or handing out leaflets!
