Re-reading Hessie Stevenson-Coleman's death record: her age in 1932 is given as 71.
This would fit with an age of 40 in the 1901 census.
But to be certain, I need her birth certificate !!
It is over 12 years since I posted the original query and one reason for re-posting here is the hope that with all the new material online, we can find her somewhere.
Can anyone help me find (in Ireland)
- birth record(s) for (any) Hessie Stevenson
- birth record for Emily Stevenson

- marriage record for Joseph Stevenson and Hessie Baxter
- marriage record for Hessie Stevenson and John Stevenson
Problematic: As a well-sinker, John Stevenson moved around a lot, sometimes moving the whole family with him.
Also: Hessie Baxter's daughter Hessie sometimes gives her maiden surname (MS) as Stevenson and sometimes as Baxter. Someone once speculated that she never have actually married John but took her mother's MS sometimes to look more respectable !
