Can anyone fix my photocopy of great grandma please. I don't have the original and this is all "someone" would give me. I would love to give my Dad a copy for his 84th birthday as he doesn't have a photo of his favourite grandmother.
You all do such beautiful work - so I'm hoping!

Thank you

Hi Ozigal

When do you need this by?

If its for a birthday present, I can put a couple of projects aside for an evening or two and get this done. Work is backing up, but I can always squeeze in a pressie request.

This should actually produce quite a decent result. Luckily the eyes are very clear and bright, and these are always the killer parts.

Do you want colour as well?

Glen

Hello Glen,

Thank you for the offer. Dad's birthday is not until mid March so there is no rush. Colour sounds like a lovely idea. I think she had dark brown glossy hair (??) - I dont know about anything else.

Oh, this is exciting - thank you.

Hi Ozigal,

Wasn't going to have a go at this one as I never seem to get good results from photocopies - but as Glen thinks it has detail thought I would have a go.
Looking forward to seeing the Master Glen's results - but here's my attempt and at least you will know what not to do Glen  ;D

Cheers

Keith

Hi Ozigal

I've managed to repair the picture as much as I could, and hopefully it is now less photocopy and more photograph.

Here it is in both its repaired state and as a rough coloured version. I'm none too happy with the colouring, and may have to revisit this at some stage.

If you like it, send me a private mesage and I can e-mail you with the full sized version which is several megabytes too large to post here.

Regards

Glen

Oh Glen,

 :'( :'( :'(
It's beautiful!

I didn't have any idea that it would turn out so well.
For once I am short on words.

Thank you so much.   :-*

Thank you also to kmo and Keith. You both did a tremendous job - thank you.

My father will be so thrilled. I may just have to send it to him early.

Again, thank you, thank you, thank you

From a very happy Ozigal   ;D ;D

I was looking at the ammount of detail, that kizmiaz has put into the picture.
Enlarging it you can see how much work has gone into just doing  an eye.

It's a great job, especially considering the starting material.
