Can you help? Charles Senior and wife Harriet
« on: Saturday 18 February 06 23:35 GMT (UK) »
I know my gggg Grandfather was called Charles Senior and his wife's name was Harriet. They were born about 1805 and 1810 respectively in St Pancras(according to the 1851 census). I have had a quick look in the bmd indexes and cannot find their marriage. I have found a marriage for a Chas. Senior and Harriet Conway at St Giles in the Field which is located in Holborn. Does anybody know wether this is a likely match.

Impossible to say!

have you found Charles's birth on the IGI? (27 Jan 1805). The only Harriet Conway there was also born in 1805.

Do you have a birth certificate for any of their children?  It would give the mothers maiden name.

Some parts of the IGI are better than others.  It is NOT complete and records can be wrong and should always be checked against the registers.
