Hi Geoff,

You could order his papers from the Government which will give more detail.

http://www.ourroots.ca/e/viewpage.asp?id=937956 Think I found him! Elizabeth Barenz came to Canada with her sister in 1912 and ended up married to G. T. Sanders of Khedive (where is he is listed on his WWI records).  The heading describes them as 'Tom and Elizabeth Sanders'
http://www.ourroots.ca/e/viewpage.asp?ID=938074&size=2
Here's a list of their family, circa 1980.  Tom is deceased, Elizabeth lives in Parry, 8 children listed of whom 5 are listed with spouses, 24 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren.
If you look around in this book you can find more on the children, ie:
http://www.ourroots.ca/e/viewpage.asp?ID=938071&size=2 - details on Walter Kesslering and Eva (Sanders) Kesslering.

http://www.ourroots.ca/e/viewpage.asp?id=899904 - mentions Lillian Elizabeth Sanders, 2nd eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs Tom Sanders of Khedive, married Stewart Scott - gives details of her children and grandchildren.

Thank you so much-is there any easy way of finding current addresses for at least some of them?

We have also lost touch with my fathers 1st cousins Betty Ingalls (nee Chambers) and Joan House (nee Chambers) who lived in Vancouver.Dad met them both when he was in Vancouver in 1992.

Thanks for the look up-really appreciated

For more recent searches for the living relatives....not all are listed, so good luck!
