Looking for a Daniel Griffiths

On the 1881 census Daniel Griffiths born 1836 in  Llanboidy, Carmarthen,
Wales,his wife was Anne Griffiths nee Thomas born 1836 Trelech, Carmarthen,
Wales.Dwelling was Llether Martine or (Maden) His occupation was  Farmer Of
58 Acres they had 5 children.
Children of David & Anne were:
David Griffiths-Born. 1857   Llangynin, Carmarthen, Wales.
Anna Griffiths- Born.  1864   Llanboidy, Carmarthen, Wales .
Anne Griffiths- Born.   1871   Llanboidy, Carmarthen, Wales .
Phoebe Griffiths- Born.1872  Llanboidy, Carmarthen, Wales.
Joseph Griffiths- Born.1874   Llanboidy, Carmarthen, Wales.
 
I  would like to know who Daniel's father and mother were,and if they had
any other children, where they lived and where they were born.
Any information on the marriage and death of  Daniel & Anne and where they are buried, would be very much
appreciated,Thank you gpaul.

Daniel Griffiths - head - 26 - farmer of 11 acres - Llanboidy
Anne Griffiths - wife - 28 - Llanginning (Llangynin)
David Griffiths - son - 2 - ditto
Mary Griffiths - dau - 5days - ditto (thats a pretty good piece of info for her exact birth date)

census taken night of 7/4/1861 so she was born about 2/4/1861

Hi davidpinkney,thanks for the info on Daniel Griffiths,where it says on the 1871 census,could there be an "S" at the end of their surname,they seem to be the same ones,because all the names do add up,but the ages don't seem to be right for the 1861 to 1871 census.
On the 1901 census at Lether Martine Thomas Griffiths is the head with his
wife Jane and their 8 children ranging from 10 down to 2.I dont know if these are the same family but next door at
Nantyreglwys is Phebe Griffiths a servant and head (Daniel's daughter) with
her mother Anne Griffiths as a lodger a widow and retired farmer aged 70.

Would it be possible for you to  look them up on the 1851 census,would be very grateful,Thanks gpaul.

Its them for sure. Obviously ages do tend to get distorted from time to time and Griffiths is written down without the S as Davies without the E etc.

I had looked for him in 1851 but couldn't find a definite match

Hi David,would it be possible for you to look up Daniel's father for me,his name was David,I don't know when he was born,could be 1800-1810,or maybe earlier than that,because daniel was born 1834-36.The marriage for Daniel and Anne was June 8th 1858 at llanginning church in the parish of llanginning don't know if the spelling is right.Residence at the time of marriage was Vranbach.Thank you Paul
