No, no link to the family.

Go to this site https://www.irishgenealogy.ie/en/   It is very helpful.

Civil record

Enter the name in search -spellings McLaughlin, 1886 and district is Glenties

You then sign in and proceed to the search.

Hello Heywood,
Thanks for your reply. Yes, my Ellen McGlaughlin is the the daughter of Charles McGlauglin and Bridget McGlauglin(nee Gorman.)
Thanks for the link but I couldn’t find Ellen’s birth there! Maybe I wasn’t looking properly.
Can I ask if you have any link to this McGlaughlin family?
Many thanks

It's number 314 on the page heywood and Elwyn posted

That’s better Sinann. I think the OP opened the link but didn’t identify the entry.

Hi,
So my next question is! Having found the entry of my grandmother’s birth how can I order a copy of her birth certificate?
Many thanks for your help.

https://www.irishgenealogy.ie/en/civil-records/help/i-want-to-get-a-copy-of-a-certificate-what-do-i-do

A photocopy at 4 euros will be a copy of what you see online.
You can purchase an official certificate though - see Option 2

An Official Cert will just be on fancy paper with official stamp. There won't be anything new to learn from it, just down load the online cert or take a screen print or sniping tool capture of it.
