Thank you both for this most helpful information.  I will be visiting County Monaghan in June, 2015 with family and hope to learn more, see the land, etc. I will now start looking for some of the reported family ties in Corrush/Ballybay area to the McCrea, Bell and Nesbit lines.

If you're after Nesbitts then "The Book of the Nesbitts" covers the Nesbitts in Monaghan! Very hard to get! You'll find g/stones at Corlea, St Ranoodens etc and photos of them on IGP site, there's probably Bells and McCrea's too.
