Hi Betty
Looking back through the postings I see you have not had a reply as yet, apologies not like us, although I am not researching the Rothwell/Gaiter name I do have 1851/ 1891 and possibly 1841 census data for them, if this is of interest.

once again apologies for not replying sooner

I have been searching the ROTHWELLs in Durham, for some time although I can't find any connection with those in Nantwich. My rellies all lived around Stockton on Tees Richard Rothwell born 1835 married Alice born 1836 and had 2 children Isaac (1871)and Annie(1878). Isaac went on to marry another Annie and had my Grandad Edwin. Don't know if that's of any interest to anyone but just thought I would add it in as it's a fairly unusual name.
Biddiscombe (Wiltshire).
Watson (Stockton on Tees)
Jamieson (Wolviston)
Rothwell (Salford/Heywood, Lancs - Stockton, Durham.)
Paisley(Hampshire)
White (East Stoneham/Liverpool)
Taylor (Liverpool)

Hi
I just joined today and read your message about Frank Wood. The one on my tree may fit:
Bourne in Crewe in 1975 Francis Henry Wood, on census he is often shown as Frank. He married an Alice but date looks wrong
