Donovan/Cowell /Hines/marriage/ birth
« on: Sunday 19 March 06 12:11 GMT (UK) »
This is a plea for another " brain storm "on a previous request for help which I have been putting aside for a while and would now like to pick up on again.

Hopefully this posting will result in  a few new suggestions. Having checked and re-checked all possible records I am still none the wiser on this Donovan family whereabouts in 1881.

I  do already have their  details for the   1891 and 1901  census.

James  Donovan, born 1850, Hadley, Suffolk according to 91 census and Ireland in the 1901 census.

Mary Ann Donovan formally Cowell born Witham, Essex 1860  (cant find any marriage record)

Just to confuse the situation this pair  were also known to  use the surname Hines-Donovan when baptising their  later offspring in Crayford.

Their first child James born " Old Kent Rd" about 1882 (I  have at least  three possibilities on BMD but cant narrow this down enough in order to send for a birth certificate. Have had lots of suggestions as to which registration district Old Kent Rd comes under but this has just confused me more !!!!!

Anyone out there with any i fresh nput  I would love to hear from you and a big thank you for taking time to read through this.
