Duggan family

Hi

Trying to find information on my Gt, Gt, Gt Grandfather and his family, his name was Timothy Duggan Born approx. 1836 Tipperary, Ireland (possibly in Nenagh) his marriage certificate states his father was Patrick Duggan - Occupation: Butcher.

Timothy Moved to England in approx 1850's and was in the British Army until 1880's and continued to live with his family in the Richmond, N. Yorkshire area until he died.

But can't find anything on Timothy his parents or his life in Ireland, etc.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for your reply - your right I can't find him listed, nor his father.

I've found Timothy all through the Census for England and in each one it states he was born in Tipperary. On one of them it states Nenagh, Tipperary. We applied for his marriage certificate and all it gave us was his father was Patrick Duggan, Butcher - no other info.

Not sure where to turn next!
