The William Scowcroft mentioned was my Great great greatgrandfather.
His son Francis John Scowcroft had several children the eldest Ann Dorothy married John Anderson who originated from Edgware Middlesex born 1839 in Barnet. He became the Station Master at Johnston before moving to Neath. He died in a railway accident in Llantrisant.
Ann & John also had several children the eldest male was my grandfather Francis John Anderson who died in Neath.
Contact with family members and further details of the Welsh Scowcroft/Bowen/Millard/Llewhelwyn from Haverfordwest.
Ann Dorothy Anderson & her Mum Elizabeth (Llewheling Millard) Moved to Cardiff in the early1900's but WHERE?

You may also wish to consider
03 June 1820 when Peregrine Bowen Esq mrd Elizabeth Scowcroft at H’west St Mary and her possible sister Martha mrd William Brown of Surrey in 1829 also at St Mary.

Where does Anne Jennett Scowcroft who mrd Thomas Davies at Llandeloy in 1835 fit I wonder ??

There is a rather interesting free Scowcroft will on the NLoW website to Elizabeth the widow reference nbr 1832/062.

Have you looked at the very interesting items reference this surname at ;

From my database of the Burgess of Pembroke Borough 1678 to 2006 I note for your interest ;

Thomas Scowcroft a Gentleman of Haverfordwest made burgess 25 July 1808 Admin Bk 8 Page 31 Minute Bk pages 270 and 277
James Scowroft of Haverfordwest made burgess 28 Oct 1811 Admin Bk 10 Page 154 Minute Bk page 314
For future reference I have come across the mrge of a Thomas Scowcroft to Elizabeth Jones at H’west St Thomas in 1787.

Hello

Edit Just noticed Orielbenfro is deceased. :'(

I came across your replies to Scowcroft posts and notice you have said "...mrge of a Thomas Scowcroft to Elizabeth Jones at H’west St Thomas in 1787..".

Thomas & Elizabeth are my 4 x great grandparents.  To date I have only located a bare bones transcript of their marriage.  Could you please advise if Elizabeth's & Thomas parents are mentioned or any information specific to the couple please.  What was the source of the information ; perhaps I will be able to recreate it?

I am hoping to locate my 5 x great grandparents from this information.

Westy

Yes I am sorry Westy :'(

I am sorry but your private message to Peter Laugharne has sadly bounced back, it looks like Peter changed his email address but sadly we have no idea what the new one could be.

Kind Regards

Sarah

I'm looking at the Welsh side of my family and note an Ann Jannet Scowcroft born in 1804.
