Hi Jacquelineve

I see you mention Smith's in the Dudley area.  I am trying to find out more about my great grandfather EDWIN SMITH who was born in TIPTON  in 1864/65 and married ELIZABETH RANDALL at DUDLEY in 1882 - I don't suppose there is any link with your Smith family is there?

Thanks for your reply Jacquelineve.   (The birth cert. you refer to is one I am offering which I do not need - but thanks anyway.)

Good luck with your searching.

Hello Jacquelineve,
Saw your surname interest posting.  Have you any information on the INCHER family of Dudley?  I have been researching the name for some time.  However, you would think with such an unusual name you would get lots of hits - but alas no.  I am an INCHER (by marriage) living in Australia.  There are about 30 of us and we are all related.

Looking forward to hearing from you.
Cheers

Hi Jacquelineve

Timmins

I have several Timmins in my tree but from Chaddesley Corbett, Kidderminster area. Not too far from Dudley though.

They range in years from 1665 up until 1844 but there at that range quite a lot of 'Possible but not Certains'

I also have the original letter dated 1837 from Samuel Timmins, a serving soldier in Madras written to his brother and sister who lived here, at Pedmore Stourbridge.

Might be some connection?

Regards
Robert

Hello Ryan
Sorry. no connection to Feraday at the moment
but who knows.
My Whitehouses were boatmen(so I've  been
told) but have a feeling I've been chasing the wrong
family. G.grandmothers marr. cert.1890 states that her
father Jacob W. dec. was a timber merchant.

Please do get in touch if theres a connection.

Your surname interests list Baggot and Saunders.

In the research i have got for the Attwell family,

I have a John Baggott married an Ann M. Attwell in 1857 at All Saints, West Bromwich.

I have a Hannah Sanders b1830 in Tipton (Saunders on the 1871 census) married a Thomas Attwell b1828 in Oldbury.

Hope this helps, have a bit more info on Ann M and Hannah if you need it.
