Hi Marya,WOW!!a big thank you from the bottom of my heart for the info,it was spot on,just came off the phone to my aunt who has a terrific memory, regarding the back ground to the family, she also told me there was another member of the family, little Thomas Beynon, she doesn't know when he was born, but she did tell me they were 9 children, 7 brothers & 2 sisters.would you do me another favour & check on the marriage for Daniel & Mary Beynon & if possible Daniel's parents,I would be forever in your debt.

                                                   Thank you gpaul.

This is a job you can do yourself - check out www.ancestry.co.uk which has the same search engine as http://freebmd.rootsweb.com/ but ALSO has the original images of the BMD indexes available to search for free.  It wouldn't be any fun for you if I did all that when you could!

I know for sure you will find the references there for father Daniel's second marriage to Charlotte Davies and young Daniel's marriage to Leah White, although there is still another marriage of a Daniel Beynon - maybe a cousin? with only one female name transcribed so not known who the wife is in that case.

With the reference you will be able to order the marriage certificates online at www.gro.gov.uk at a cost of £7 each.  These will give you their names, ages, addresses and occupations, also their father's names and occupations to help you along with earlier generations.

Mary

Gpaul

Have just come across this thread by chance. in the message posted by Mary A of Beynons in the 1901 census at 2 myrtle hill is my gggrandfather William R and my Ggrandfather Thomas H. ( aged 4mnths)

As yet I have not connected this family to the Daniel living at no 1 Myrtle Hill although I am sure they must be connected somewhere back on the tree.  Williams parents are Henry and Louisa Beynon. A lot of my family are also buried in the Minceau Churchyard and I have quite a few photos of the gravestones of Beynons as listed in your messages.

regards
