Mack - No Cyril Willcock(s) listed in 1909 M/cr directory.  Only possibilities for his father (Fred R, according to 1901 census) as follows:

Frederick Willcock, clerk, 7 June St, Chorlton on Medlock
Frederick Willcock, householder, 269 Ridgway St, Ancoats

Will see if I can find anything else.

There you see, if people have the means to look something up they certainly don't mind spending the time to do it - blimey Mack you spend enough time yourself doing similar, you should credit others with the same generosity.

Good onya Rambler!

Just sorry I didn't spot the request earlier - like you say, Mary, Mack spends all his time helping us with the military stuff, so it's nice to have a chance to do something in return.  8)

Hi!

I have recently come across this thread about Cyril Rowe Willcocks. He is my great, great uncle.
He is commemorated at Theipval.
We have loads of info on him if you are still interested?
Also we thought we were the only Rowe-Willcocks' left so will be cool if there are some more out there!
