Kendal Records Office - Morland Parish

Hi there,
Is anyone going to Kendal any time soon to do research? If so can someone do a little research for me in the Morland area.
I am looking for a Abraham Simpson born in Morland c1821. His father is called Joseph Simpson. I know nothing more than this at this moment in time.

PS There seems to be a lot of Simpsons in the area at this time so details on anyone that could be connected with this line would be greatfully received too.

I did a search on Family Search - IGI
http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Search/frameset_search.asp?PAGE=igi/search_IGI.asp&clear_form=true

for an Abraham SIMPSON born 1820 +/- 5 yrs in Westmorland & only came
up with 2 entries & only one of these with father Joseph.
I then just put in father Joseph & mother Dorothy (as given on Abraham’s entry)
& came up with the following Christenings for these children for a Joseph &
a Dorothy. You will still need to check that these are all the same family & that
this Abraham is yours. They were all IGI not member submitted.

only 1 marriage for a Joseph SIMPSON & Dorothy in Westmorland

Kendal RO then they could check out all the entries.

It does look like the right family as there are a lot of family names in Abraham's siblings which were carried on to his own children.
I had previously tried the IGI and found nothing on the family.
More research to be done but it certainly helps.
