Is your John Doyle in 1871 about 35 years of age?  There is one listed born in Ireland living in Brantford West.  If you think that's him, then next time I am at the library I can look it up for you.

No, he was 45 years in 1871. He died between 1871-1881. I believe they were in Paris Town.
Children Mary Ann,Margaret and Patrick.
