Don't think they are related but I always keep any names I find so I can work out the distribution of the family name etc. So keep them coming I say. Thanks.

Jody101,

I have just noticed that you have a William Munton Bullivant interest and I was wondering if you have done any research on the Munton name.

We have a Mary MUNTON from Lincolnshire who married a John Collingwood C1833.
They then came to Australia in 1836 with their son WILLIAM in 1836.

Looking forward to hearing from you,
Cheers,
Christine

Hi,

I have no interest in the Bullivant family but there is a mention of a Gertrude Bullivant in a Grantham in the News book 1901-1925 the year concerned is 1918 she  was jailed for keeping a disorderly house.Gertrude was living Millards Place Grantham at the time and was sentanced to 3 months jail with hard labour.

Thanks for that. I know of this Getrude, not in my family but I think related to some Nottinghamshire Bullivants.

I have a connection to the Bullivant family, goes back to Isaac Bullivant, born 1824 in Bishophill, York. He married Mary Relph.

Hi there,
I am a direct relation to Isaac Bullivant. He was my great, great, great Grandfather. His son was Henry. Bullivant. Henry's son was John Henry Bullivant. HIS son was Victor Harold Bullivant and then HIS son, also Victor Harold Bullivant was my dad.
Be great to find out more from people who are related!
Thanks,
Lisa.

Hi All

I just found out that my Gt Grandmother Kitty Bullivant nee Topham (Also married before to Walter Andrew) died aged just 24yrs  :'( Kitty remarried to Frank Bullivant in 1928 and died a year later from TB.  Does anyone know what happened to Frank Bullivant, I don't think they had any children together.  Kitty had a child with previous husband Walter Andrew aged just 15yrs she and Walter were also married when she was aged just 13ys and I don't know the reason why unless she was pregnant and lost the baby.  Seems she has a bit of a complicated life would love to hear from anyone who can unravel the mystery.

Have you got any more details. Like place of birth or marriage? There are an awful lot of Frank Bullivants.
