1851 Cambridge request
« on: Friday 28 April 06 06:49 BST (UK) »
Looking for David Henry THOMPSON b. Aug 1816 Suffolk, and his wife Lydia CRISP b. 8 Jan 1815 Cambridge. Married at Cambridge abt 1855. Emigrated to Australia in 1857.

They had children :- Geoffry Charles b. 1842, David Henry b. 1844 Cambridge, Charles Crisp b. 1850,  William b. 1852, Emily b. 1852.

David was a French Polisher by trade when he came to Australia. I think his parents names were George Thomson and Martha.

Lydia's parents were Wollard John CRISP (Edward in one record) and Mary.

Any help would be appreciated.

thankyou
Vonnie

Thankyou for looking up that for me.

I got Geoffry ( not Geoffrey ) from the shipping records, but they are often wrong.

Is there any sign of David and Lydia's parents. Lydia (Lidia) was from Cambridge so i though they may still be there.

thankyou again

cheers, Vonnie
