ROGERS - in Hendon
« on: Thursday 04 May 06 01:22 BST (UK) »
Wanting to find some living ROGERS relatives still in England. My grandfather was Charles john ROGERS (11/11/1907 - in Hendon). He emigrated to australia when he was 2 years with father Frederick ROGERS (b:29/03/1881) and mother Martha Elizabeth ROGERS (nee: MASON b:17/10/1882) and brother and sister Richard and Mabel. Fred was the only one in his family to go to Aust.

Frederick's parents were Charles ROGERS and Catherine HAWKES.
They had many children -
Elizabeth Kate, Arthur, Charles, William, George Frederick, Keziah, Emmd, Rosaline, Stephen, Lillian.

Frederick's brother George - went on to have 10 boys who all fought in WW11 - George, Phillip, Ronald, Fred, Geoffrey, Ralph, Albert, Peter, Paul and Jack. There were also four girls - whose names I do not know.
Surely with such big families - there must be someone out there researching the same family? Would love to hear from anyone connected!

Rogers, Mason, Hawkes, Baldwin, Taboudeux, Lee, Steeden, Wilson, Armstrong, Battley, Johnstone, Dailey, Birmingham, Lancaster,Field, Rainford, Hill, Adams, Cassidy.
