TO PARENTS EDWARD BOICE / BOYCE 1794 AND MARY 1797 OF DITCHEAT.

WILLIAM BOYCE/ BOICE THEN MARRIED JANE WALKER C.1822 OF WEST PENNARD AROUND 1840.I BELIEVE IN WEST PENNARD AREA.
JANE WALKER WAS Christened 26 MAY 1822 WEST PENNARD.
THEY ARE LISTED ON 1841 CENSUS AS CHURCH LANE WITH 5 MONTH CHILD NAMED FREDERICK , NO RECORD OF HIS BIRTH CAN BE FOUND AND HE IS GONE ON 1851 CENSUS WITHOUT TRACE. ALTHOUGH THEIR DAUGHTER ANN IS WITH THEM.

THESE DEATAILS ARE FROM IGI WHEN THEIR DAUGHTER ANN BOICE / BOYCE b.  2 JUNE 1843 GOT MARRIED TO JOSEPH GOULD b. 20 JUNE 1840 IN DITCHEAT ON THE 15 SEPT 1861 , ANN DIED ON 13 JULY 1868 COXLEY , WELLS.

1871 CENSUS WILLIAM, JANE AND CHILDREN ARE IN EVERCREECH ALTHOUGH SOME OF THE DATES OF BIRTH ARE OUT.

1881 CENSUS JANE BOYCE IS IN PONTYPRIDD GLAMORGAN WITH HER SONS,DAUGHTER AND GRANDCHILDREN. NOT STATED IF MARRIED OR WIDOWER.

1891 CENSUS JANE BOYCE IN PONTYPRIDD GLAMORGAN AS AGE 68 WIDOW

1901 CENSUS JANE BOYCE IN PONTYPRIDD GLAMORGAN AGED 78
SHE DIED IN 1906  AGED 82 ACCORDING TO RECORDS, BUT I CANT FIND HER BURIAL PLACE AS YET ALTHOUGH SHE MAY HAVE BEEN BURIED AT ST ILAN CHURCH A FEW MILES AWAY..

I DONT KNOW WHEN WILLIAM DIED BETWEEN 1871 AND 1891 EITHER.

I WILL TRY AND GO DOWN TO EVERCREECH AND DITCHEAT SOON AND GO AROUND THE GRAVES TO TRY AND FIND THEM THERE.

I am also compiling a file on the Rossiter family generally. I call it "Rossiter Snippets".
I gather pieces of information to do with the Rossiter family and try to link new snippets of information up with those that I have.

It is a massive family and is scattered all over the world. I look forward to hearing from you wit interest.

Thanks for your posting and your offer. I'd be pleased to receive your GED file on the Northumberland Rossiters. I do have little bits of information about them but it would be great to tie them altogether and place them within the Rossiter family tree. Like the banks we have branches everywhere!! I have ROSSITER but much earlier than you folks. They seem to be of Combe St Nicholas, Somerset. Maybe this will be of help to someone.

Richard ROSSITER (1461-1529) - Elizabeth PERYE - (Joan, Philip, George)

Philip ROSSITER (1499-1583) - UNKNOWN (Nicholas, William, Richard); M. 2- Katherine LYTE (Philip, John, Elizabeth, Hugh)

Nicholas ROSSITER (ca 1539-1608) - Elizabeth COMBE (Edward, Winifred)

Edward ROSSITER (1575-1630) - Jane COMBE (Nicholas, Dorothy, Bryan, Jane, Hugh, Joane)

Edward emigrated to the USA on the Mary and John in 1630. I descend from daughter Jane (1614-1691) who m. Thomas GILBERT 1612-1676) 1639 Massachusetts.

Update ... Jane COMBE, wife of Edward ROSSITER is, most likely, Joan/Jone COMBE, daughter of Joseph.
