Does anyone know what Woore is listed under on the Ancestry 1841 census?

Use this link, put in the place name and years 1841-1841.

It will be the Ho 107 referenece

Hi Chesters

If you look on the national archives website catalogie search page -

http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/catalogue/search.asp

and search for Woore with a date range of 1841 to 1841 and department code HO107, it comes up with the section of the census containing Woore. It's really handy when looking for any census reference  ;D

In this case, it shows Woore as part of Muckleston - looking at Ancestry, Woore seems to match with District 1
