I have  my Grandparents marriage certificate, married Mary Ann Jones on 20th November 1909, a 19 year old batchelor, coalminer living in Bryncaerau,Trimsaran,Pembray.Fathers name also William. I can't find anything further back than this.I was hoping I might find some brothers and sisters.
Grandmother Mary Ann Jones spinster age 20 living in Mynyddygarreg,Llangendeirne, father Daniel Jones coalminer, I know this correct as I have her death certificate, but I can,t track her down either ( too many Jones's ) Witnesses David Harris and Sarah Jones. I realy hope someone can help or give me some poiners on where to go next.

Hi Welsh lady,  I did'nt realise I had left out my Grandfathers name, he was also William Harris though there is a family story that it was changed from Harries, but it could be just a story.

Strangely William senior does say Harries where the others say Harris without the "e"

In 1881 William Harries senior is a farm servant living at Penyrallt, Penboyr, Carms with a Davies family.

Thank you all so much,this is great help. Just one other thing you might be able to help me with, family legend has it that this wedding between William and Mary Ann was shotgun wedding, my father found this out after his mother died when he was looking through the family Bible, he said his sister was born within weeks of them being married. Is there any way I can trace this,I have searched BMD but nothing came up, her name was Phyillis.
