Hi Mike - that is wonderful!!

Thankyou so much - the older man in the photo was born in 1851 - my gg-grandfather.

Thankyou for your time and efforts - very much appreciated!

Hi William,
I think we could have done a far better job if just the
photo had been scanned at  a higher resolution. The general detail of
most of the photo looks quite good but when we enlarge it to see the
detail it quickly "pixellates" making it difficult to see the detail and of
course very difficult to give our best.
Anyway here's a quick clean up.
Cheers,
Tomkin

Hi Tomkin,

Next time I scan anything at all in I shall be much more careful - and if I get a chance I shall re-borrow this photo to do again.

Thanks for your efforts - very much appreciated.

Hi William,
Pleasure mate, and we all have to learn.Best way is not to wait while
you need to do it. Just practise at every opportunity. Remember it doesn't cost
you anything and you  can delete anything that is useless.
There are tons of tutorials on the net. Even if you don't understand it now
gradually it will sink in.
Good look mate and if you need help just "shout"
Tomkin
