Hi, do you know who Ann's parents were please?  I have a couple of Ann DIDLOCKS but they are too young I think but could the name have been DIDLICK as I have several of them, some of which I have no info of their spouse.     Any other info that I might be able to match up would help.  Hope we can find her!

Hi, I am helping my partner to trace his family tree. We have been looking at Nellie or Nelly Didlick. She is his paternal great-grandmother, born 1895 and died 1958 in Coalville Leicestershire. His family originates from Shropshire but we are unable to trace Nelly's family. Can you help?

There was a Nellie Didlick born to parents George and Sarah Ann Didlick in Caynham, Shropshire, which is were my connection to the Didlick family comes from through Mary Ann Wilkinson.

This Nellie was baptised on 20 October 1895.

Looks like George Didlick married Sarah Ann Evans in 1882.  They also had a son George bon in 1887.

In the 1911 census, they appear living in Hope Bagot, Shropshire with daughters Mary 20; Nelly (new spelling) 15; Alice 12; Annie 9.

What we have found so far in our family is Nellie Didlick born 22 september 1895, died 24 March 1958 in Coalville, Leicestershire, England. Sarah Ann Didlick born  April 1883 in Ludlow, Shropshire married Herbert Henry Fenn.
