trying to find my Martin family in Ontario--probably old Ontario County
Terence and Bridget Martin from Ireland and both born around 1790-1800

Hi Joani,

You can search the 1851 census on-line.  It's not indexed so you'll have to go through each page.  The ones with the (a) have the names on so you don't need to go through each of the letters until you find them and then the rest of the images will be on (b) and (c)

Do you know what Bridget's maiden name was?  There is a marriage for Patrick Martin in Owen Sound who's parents are Terence Martin and Bridge McKenna.  This Patrick was born in Ireland c1841.

Bridget Martin- two listed here...in 1871 ...Could one be an
offspring? Also many Patricks and so on...
Odd that Bridget, born 1796 Ireland doesn't show up...as she is on
the 1881 with the Beaupree family...perhaps a son in law and his family?
and both she and he are widowed...
Did Terence perhaps use a middle name?  J.J.
