Madras Almanac 1813
« on: Friday 02 June 06 22:20 BST (UK) »
Not sure where is the best place to post this. It's not really emigration, but 'empire' - most of those who went to India and survived probably came back to the UK eventually.

However, I have a copy of this book and it contains quite a lot of names. I  intend to start transcribing relevant parts of it soon (and posting them to the web), but if anyone has reason to expect that they had relatives serving in south India at the turn of the 19th century, I would be happy to look for them in this little book !

all the best -

Steve
