St Margaret's Leicester
« on: Saturday 03 June 06 09:03 BST (UK) »
Hi

I notice that whilst the marriages at St Margaret's are on the IGI, baptisms aren't - is there any reason for that? Will I find details if I went to the Leicester Records office?

Regards
Sarah

That's a offer I can't refuse Mike! However I think it may be a big ask because of the confusion over the surname. The details are as follows:

I'm looking for the birth of Sarah Ann Debrex (sometimes written as Deborex or Devereaux) abt 1825 in Leicester - I know her father was John Debrex. I also know there was a John Deborex (b1800) who married Dorothy Gadsby (1802) in 26 Dec 1820 at St Margarets and so I'm trying to confirm if they are the parents.

Any help appreciated

Sarah
