Is surname Diaper, or Draper?

Hi surname is diaper but could be misspelt.  He died 1917 any help would be really appreciated

He isn't on cwgc, so we need to know a little more, do you have any further info.

There is one 1917 death for Albert Cecil Diaper - thats an usual surname, possibly related?

I dont have the 1917 magazines unfortunately, but there was a booklet published for the companies memorial service, will see what it contains.

What else do you have?

Hi

I was at passendaele this weekend he is on cwgc site as kia.   Died there and memorial at Tyne cot, as no body found.   Details I have are John Thomas diaper private, 253604, 3rd battalion London regiment. Attached 7th btn royal fus.  Died 30th October 1917.  His Children  put in home when he died.  So I am trying to find a photo of him.  I know he worked for the gas company and his name is on one of their memorials in London...Brentford I think.  Thank you for any assistance Alison

Ok, I looked but he didnt come up.

I dont have any 1917 annuals, but possibly Mat got them, its a while back so cant remember - try messaging on here, its mrmizu from earlier in this thread.
