Thanks for the interest JJ. You are spot on with your links. This branch of my tree (actually my husbands'!) is by far the most fascinating. John had three younger brothers, one emigrated to Australia with him and from there ended up in new Zealand and then worked for the government in Bolivia. John paid for the others to go to private school and then Cambridge, one ended up in India working for the High Court of Madras and the other became a High Court Judge in Cumbria. John's uncles and their descendants were involved in mining, medicine and law in the northeast and were a very influential family at the time. All very wealthy at one time too but squandered by their wives apparently!
